The Pitcher was an exhibition/research on the act of throwing in revolution and in sports. It included a video tutorial entitled Ramon on the baseball technique for throwing “subversive objects”, and an artist’s book “Del Lancio”. Inside the publication, experts from different cultural disciplines (art history, cinema, literature, sport) deal with pitchers and the act of throwing from the baroque age up to the present day.

The Pitcher è stata una mostra-ricerca sul lancio tra la sovversione e la sportività. Nel percorso allestitivo un video tutorial intitolato Ramon, sulla tecnica del lancio di “oggetti sovversivi” con tecnica baseball, e un libro d’artista “Del Lancio”. Nella pubblicazione, esperti provenienti da diversi ambiti culturali (storia dell’arte, cinema, letteratura, sport) trattano del lancio e dei lanciatori dall’età barocca ai giorni nostri.
